Transferring Love

The Humane Society of Utah transfers
animals from over 60 other shelters; giving pets that would otherwise be at risk of euthanasia the chance to find a new home and offering more options for those looking to adopt. Last week, the HSU received a wonderful surprise from the New Beginnings program in Merced, CA -- a sweet little puppy named Dana.
Dana's foster mother took great care of her and sent her to us with love, sealed with a kiss.
The lipstick was still on her forehead when she arrived at the HSU.
The staff welcomed Dana with open arms and showered their own kisses on her.
From all of us here at the Humane Socity of Utah, we thank everyone who helps foster and care for these animals. Thank you for entrusting your precious pets to us and sending them so far for a second chance.
Dana was adopted during our Super Adoption Event June 20, 2015... lipstick kisses and all!
