Kaiju & Kenji's Story

Last October when the humane society was over filled with kittens it just happened to be around the time of my mother's birthday and with her permission my little sister and I went down to the Humane Society to pick out two kittens for her as a present. After 2 hours of searching through the entire cat section of the Humane Society my younger sister and I finally picked out two young cats they were older and not babies like we had planned on getting but they were perfect. At first when I told my mother we did not pick out two tiny babies she was a little upset and confused but when we brought them home she was thrilled. One is a beautiful grey/brown striped cat like my mum had always wanted and the other was a white cat with large grey patches. we changed their names to Kaiju and Kenji and even though they are from different litters they instantly acted as though they have been raised together their whole lives. And ever since they have never failed to greet my mum as she comes home from work, joins her in whatever household task she does and snuggle with her every night. Kaiju will demand *hugs(he stands on his hind legs and rests his paws on your shoulders while your sitting and you have to just pet him) at least twice a day (once in the morning after she wakes up, and once when she gets home). Also Kenji is her number one snuggle buddy that will sit next to you on the couch then he will meow a distint loud meow then Kaiju will come out of nowhere curl up next to Kenji and that is how they prefer to sleep together while next to someone especially if that human has a soft blanket. They are the perfect pair of cats for my family and there has never been a day I regret getting the two of them.
