Hallmark Channel’s Second Annual Kitten Bowl premiered Sunday, Feb. 1, and the Humane Society of Utah was chosen to host a coinciding Kitten Bowl Party. Bringing awareness to the plight of homeless cats across the country and the importance of adopting shelter dogs and cats, the event was a great success!

Violet found her new best friend in the first cat she met, Flame. Both of these blue-eyed blonde cuties are five years old and love to cuddle.

Then HSU interviewed potential adopters. It's important to check that the pet and its new home are a good match.

HSU adopted out 76 cats, 46 dogs and three rabbits during the weekend event. Overall, 125 pets won forever homes! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and to all the adopters for giving these pets a second chance!
