Fanklin's Story

Hi! My boyfriend and I recently adopted a dog from the Humane Society and I just wanted to share our story.

We adopted our dog, Franklin (named Rishi while he was at the shelter), from the Humane Society a couple of weeks ago, and we are so happy we did! We came in not knowing what we were looking for, and we found Franklin in a back corner, just hanging out in his kennel. We took him out to play, and every time I threw a tennis ball for him to fetch, he would watch it hit the ground, and then turn back around and nuzzle me until I started petting him. Having him around is so great; he's already a cemented part of our family and we are just crazy about him. Adopting from the Humane Society was quick and simple, and everyone there was really helpful and I could tell they were excited for us to adopt Franklin. Thanks!
